A pilgrim journey I am on,
A searcher’s path I trod,
A wanderer on and on,
Until I join the sod.
Truth is my quest,
Quietness my aim;
Submissiveness is no jest,
Dependence sometimes in pain.
Christ is all and in all,
To me who am His own,
To me whom He shall call,
Even as eternity is sown.
